The Spanking Weekend in the Mountains fills up fairly quickly so if you're even considering the possibility of attending you may not want to take too long. This event has turned into quite a special adventure. If you are a private spanker there are many (MANY) times, opportunities and locations to go off for a private scene.
There is, however, a percentage of the group that participates in what I call "interactive, group, socializing to re-establish and secure timeless community standards through the use of Old-fashioned, Platonic, Traditional, Institutional, Loving And Parental discipline." For short, we call it an O.P.T.I.L.A.P. spanking experience. It's not age play or role-play but a choice to be held accountable for behavior which is not in one's best interest or in line with the 'student handbook', which is given to any bottom who chooses to be included. This handbook of sorts communicate to bottoms those things that are 'within the bubble' so as to over burden tops with too much childishness. Age play and baby talk is not a part of party public play.
A result of the OPTILAP program is that it keeps energetic play and active party noise in one or two areas. Not all the guests like high energy. People who prefer a quiet setting have plenty of choices to do their scenes in peace while 'the academy' deals with a higher activity level in one or two locations.
Our goal is to include as many responsible players as
possible. If
you maintain excellent personal hygiene and follow the SCONY protocol
you
should have a wonderful spanking experience.
In the name of including everyone there are no private parties in rooms
during
the planned activities of the schedule. This does not include a
couple
who want to do a private scene and return when they're finished.
It
does, however, include anyone who may view their room as 'party
central'.
There is only one 'party central' and it's in the lounge.
Each guest is given a resort ID that identifies not only that you are a guest but, most importantly, by the color identifies whether you are a top, bottom or switch. Inside the name tag's cover are different color tags that can be changed to fit your mood and whether or not you are participating in the academy.
No one is left out. Last spring the weekend had three varieties of participation, of which most of us took advantage at various times. (You can change your 'role' by changing the insert inside your name tag.)
* One choice were the spankers who enjoy socializing and relaxing but really don't attach a youthful mentality to their spanking. They are who they are, in the spanking world and in real life. Sometimes they join ‘the academy' and sometimes they don't. (You don't have to be a student to attend or enjoy the academy.)
* Another group has a young, adolescent mind-set. Rather
than 'age play', which would not be appropriate, it's more of a
situation where bottoms are held accountable for unwise choices.
Bottoms have a great time creating fun, making mischief (within the
guidelines of the handbook) and enjoying their own innocent style. They
make up part, but not all, of the student population at ‘the academy',
which provides them
with a simple environment to exercise their youthful calling. At
this
weekend it's okay to enjoy the kid inside with laughs, spankings, tears
and
all the trimmings. Some people enjoy wearing the academy colors of
maroon,

The color usually chosen is 'Burgundy plaid'. The
prices are inexpensive.

long time
ago. It is completely your choice. What's most important is
that
you have fun
* There was another group. The romantic couples who have a more private reason for their spanking. Erotic spanking is a style we identify and recognize but for the purposes of this party it is always a private matter that is mutually consensual.
Based on the current guest list there is a good mix of styles and an equal ration of males and females. Since the new owners took over, each room of the resort has its own individual old-fashioned flair. We are also provided with our very own personal host/waiter/bartender.
Just as before we will provide the intriguing Woodshed (Yes, it's a real woodshed), where one may deal with issues in private. A straight backed chair, soft lights and a saddle to bend over make ‘serious' sessions hard to avoid. If there's not enough room in the woodshed there are acres and acres of woods to explore. Lots of switches around and plenty of material for a good birching.
Usually we are able to arrange a massage therapist to be available pretty much at any time. An appointment is set up on a sign up sheet.
Whatever your style you can't help but enjoy "The Academy". It
keeps all of us entertained and the group interacting. You don't
have to
be a bottom or a student to be a part of this unique experience.
The
actual ‘classroom' is the public play space in a private lounge area
near
the
lake. Everyone gets an ‘academy handbook' but by no means do
you have to participate. You can come and mingle, laugh,
spank and, believe it or not, actually learn something. (We encourage
our ‘teachers' to be prepared with an educational lesson
plan.) It exists for your pleasure, enjoyment and
entertainment, but it certainly is not required.
All choices are yours. There isn't any pressure to do anything you're not comfortable with. SCONY people have built a reputation for helping everyone fit in, whether you're new, experienced, coming as a single or attending with a vanilla spouse (who no doubt deserves a place in heaven).
All spankings are consensual. In order to respect the limits of non sexual spankers all erotic/sensuous scenes are done in private. Adults only. No pets. No cameras or recording devices. No leather, fetish or dungeon approaches. Appropriate titles would be Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss.
