Meet Ms. Margaret

Ms. Margaret Davis is an attractive, educated and conservative woman who believes in over-the-knee spanking as a lifestyle. For many years she has carefully interviewed and had private sessions with hundreds of people in the spanking community around the country.

Without altering her origins as a lady she has moved about the scene, dressed in regular business clothes, spanking many a deserving adult who has craved a strict session of discipline. She has no interest in leather, abusive treatment, or anything sexual. Her specialty is delivering a firm spanking with due regard to a person's limits, special concerns and the need to be nurtured. Her style is to provide the "Ritual" — as she calls it — you would only get from a caring parent. 

She has a deep understanding of the need for a disciplinarian (male or female) who, like a loving authority figure, holds consenting players responsible for irresponsible behavior. She uses an acronym for this style called OPTILAP:  Old-fashioned, Platonic, Traditional, Institutional, Loving And Parental discipline. As a responsible and mature member of the spanking community, Ms. Margaret also conducts workshops on safe and sane choices in dominance and submission with special regard to newly emerging female participants.

Inspired by a talk presented to a leather society in New York in 1993, Ms. Margaret separated and identified five styles or approaches to spanking scenes:  Playful, Maintenance, Discipline, Sensuous and Erotic. While playful spanking is a relaxing part of her parties, Ms. Margaret's favorite specialty is the discipline spanking.

Ms. Margaret also focuses the lion's share of her energy on helping shy females surface publicly and does what she can to ease them into the community with the kind of support they require. By encouraging people to be clear and identify the style they need, Ms. Margaret continually creates a safe environment around her. She is committed to making all novices comfortable and informing them of community protocol. As a result, new players and vanilla spouses find it much easier to attend her parties since the atmosphere is more conducive to heterosexual players new to the scene.  The style used at her parties is playful or discipline. Overtly sexual scenes are not part of Ms. Margaret's interest.

As the president of the Spanking Club of New York (SCONY), Ms. Margaret provides many opportunities for shy spankers to meet and enjoy their special calling.  She has a carefully planned calendar of activities where heterosexual spankers may join her at parties and demonstrations.  One of the most beloved gatherings of the year is the Weekend in the Mountains, where old-fashioned spankers from all over the globe meet for a full three days of a different kind of spanking party.  There is adult play, plenty of private time, and many especially fond memories are made in St. Margaret's Academy, which gives attendees the opportunity to spank and be spanked in an authentic school environment.

SCONY protocol, by scene terms, is fairly conservative and separates all sensuous and erotic play as an activity best kept in private. If you really want to feel a part of the community, all SCONY events are the best sources in the New York City area to meet other kindred spirits who are lovers of the OTK spanking experience. And many close friendships and romances have come from these parties. If you stick to the rules and contribute to the healthy atmosphere, you become a part of the family.

Depending on her calendar, Margaret tries to be available, if asked, to lead discussions and give talks on dominance, submission and other related topics. Radio shows, scene groups and university societies in the Northeast have invited her to appear to present the unique perspective of a more modest, sane,  and private side of the community.  Talks included, "Play vs. Abuse," "Mature Choices & Spanking," "Humor in the Community,"  "Styles of Spanking," "The Ritual" & "OPTILAP."
